Dreading Perfume Sales and Usage During the Holiday Season Before and After
Well, we survived the Holiday Season once again. Fragrance Free People dread the idea of going to the shopping malls due to the smell of all the perfume products for sale. But even worse is after Christmas, when perfume and cologne bombs slather themselves with the products they received for gifts. January is the hardest month to deal with. It is too cold to open the windows for fresh air which results in indoor air quality at its worst. And people wonder why they are sick in January, but they think it is just the weather. (SO WRONG)

The holiday season is the hardest. Stores bring in strongly scented products such as cinnamon scented pine cones, scented candles, and the assortment of perfumes being tested by consumers. Interestingly this is also the season when heart attacks are at their highest. while many people suggest its because of stress from the holidays, shopping, extra traffic or shoveling snow. Research has shown that exposure to these types of chemicals increase inflammation as measured by CRP in the blood.
